THE BEDROOMS
Set around the swimming pool, between the main mansion and the separate bungalows, the seven bedrooms of the Manoir de Lorient welcome up to 16 guests. Canopy bed, mezzanine, outdoor shower or private patio… Each room is unique.
With their white walls, immaculate linen, and floor and bathroom elements of waxed concrete, the rooms convey an impression of freshness and serenity, complemented by the subtle contrasts provided by selected decorative elements, perfectly embodying the intimate luxury ambiance of the entire place.
Five of the bedrooms have separate bathrooms and toilets, while the other two are interconnecting and share a bathroom, making them ideally configured for families.
BEDROOMS 1 AND 2
The first bungalow faces the swimming pool and has two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom.
In bedroom 1, the beautiful ebony wood wardrobe, the mosquito net and the ceiling fan, an environmentally friendly alternative to air conditioning, give the room an old-fashioned charm. The adjoining bathroom has a vanity unit and a shower.
Bedroom 2 has a direct view of the swimming pool. An imposing four-poster bed and a magnificent, varnished wood console table make this the master bedroom of the property. Next to a designer wicker lounge chair, a staircase leads to a spacious mezzanine dressing room. The bathroom has a shower and a vanity unit.
BEDROOMS 3 AND 4
In the extension of this first bungalow, on the garden side, are two more bedrooms.
Designed to be symmetrical, they both offer queen size beds and a television, as well as a bathroom with a vanity unit and a shower in luminous white, from which the bedroom is accessed between two integrated dressing rooms.
BEDROOMS 5, 6 AND 7
The last three bedrooms of the house are situated in a square pavilion with an interior patio at its heart.
The bathrooms in this pavilion feature stone walls, a nod to the Norman origins of the main house.
The spirit of the islands breathes in bedroom 5, which has a four-poster bed and a chic minimalist decor. Its adjoining bathroom gives access to an outdoor shower.
Rooms 6 and 7 are communicating and thus form the perfect accommodation for a family. The first, with its queen size bed, is ideal for two people and the second, with its clever dormitory layout, has four single beds. The bathroom shared by both rooms also provides access to the outdoor shower.
